About Dana Charles
Dana Charles is a fourth-generation Coloradan who has called Pueblo County home her entire life. Proud of her Italian roots, she loves the rich mix of cultures that makes Pueblo special. She and her husband, Greg, raised two sons here.
For close to 25 years, Dana has worked in healthcare. Alongside her career, she has served on a wide range of local boards and commissions — experience that has given her a clear view of what Pueblo needs and where the region should be headed.
Dana isn't a career politician. She stepped forward because she believes Pueblo has been let down by the people sent to represent it in Denver, and she's ready to be a voice that puts this community first.
Why This Race Matters
After years of single-party control at the Capitol, Pueblo families are paying more and feeling less safe. Dana has watched it happen to the community she loves — and she's done watching from the sidelines.
Her family has been in Colorado for generations. Today, her own sons face the real possibility that they won't be able to afford to live in the state their great-great-grandparents came to. Dana is running to change that, and to give Pueblo a senator who will fight for a safer, more prosperous future.
